This month-long weekends only event is an expansion of Downtown New Bern's very successful Friday and Saturday evenings dining in the streets. Downtown streets will close Fridays at 5pm and reopen Saturdays at 10:00pm so participating restaurants can provide "Feasting in the Streets" and stores can join in by selling a unique mix of merchandise on the sidewalks and streets. We're even adding up to 8 carefully curated artisan and retail vendors each weekend!

Downtown streets will be decorated with mums as they have for the past five years, and there will be live music Downtown each weekend. At Union Point Park you'll find the mum arch and maze beginning the weekend of October 9-10! These fan favorites are now a permanent part of our annual mumfestivities!

If you're unable or uncomfortable attending MumFeast! you can still enjoy some of your best-loved seasonal foods by taking advantage of our curbside pickup on South Front Street. "Festival-style" food will be available at the lot on the corner of South Front and Craven each weekend with favorites like funnel cake, fried oreos, sausage sandwiches, icy treats, tacos and more! And with curbside pickup you can take your order home or even to one of our beautiful City parks. We will post weekend menus on MumFest social media along with information about placing orders and pickup instructions.

MumFeast! will be held on Middle, Pollock and Craven streets weekends in October. Join us in Downtown New Bern as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of Main Street and MumFest during the month of October with the safely re-imagined MumFeast!
