Tryon Palace Garden Lovers' Weekend
On Saturday you can browse through the plants available for sale at the Palace's annual Fall Heritage Plant Sale. And, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday take a break from the MumFestivities to stroll through more than 14 acres of beautifully-sculpted gardens filled with an explosion of chrysanthemums. These beautiful floral displays will provide a breath-taking backdrop for a weekend filled with free family entertainment, arts and crafts, and fabulous foods.
Completed in 1770, Tryon Palace served as the first permanent capitol of North Carolina and home to Royal Governor William Tryon and his family.
Tyron Palace Gardens are free and open to the public throughout MumFest weekend, Friday through Sunday, 9am-5pm.
